The BMO Financial Group received the 2008 Green Enterprise IT Award for IT Hardware Asset Utilization from the Uptime Institute for reducing energy consumption at their Greater Toronto Area computer center. This is the only data center in Canada that is certified by Uptime as Tier 4, the highest rating that signifies that the facility is completely fault tolerant.
